Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
UK and the city of Lexington provided everything I was looking for in a residency program.
What do you like about your program?
My favorite aspect of being at UK is spending time with my fellow residents inside and outside the hospital.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy backpacking, fishing and hunting.
Biography
I went to Michigan State University for pre med and majored in physiology. For a long time I thought I was a good fit for emergency medicine, but when I started spending time in the OR, I realized I wanted to be a surgeon. I was then lucky enough to be exposed to ENT, by chance, during medical school. I liked the variety of specialties within ENT, the surgical procedures, and the character of people who seem to be attracted to Otolaryngology. My goal is to become a capable and confident general ENT surgeon.
